This is number monkey funking 5 of the FREE collection from Ninja Columbo. It’s by Nottingham based hardcore techno producer, ‘GEKKO’. It’s heavily influenced by the older Deathchant sound complete with the more rough and ready production style before we all started getting too anal and picky about production quality and editing way too much (myself is so included in that comment haha ;) … i think that’s the main charm to this ep and GEKKO will soon enough be a regular name on the uk hardcore techno circuit if he keeps going the way he is.

The 4th FREE ep Release already from someone that does actualy take my breath away, believe me.. these tracks (especialy the Obelisk tracks) are just an intro into this guys highly techy world! HARDHARDHARD rolling and clangy Drum and Bass for 2 tracks and 2 other tracks that i can only say sound kind of like 90’s Speedy J influenced broken filthy 140ish bpm techno (think Borax)….
